Experience Sanctuary

We live in a world that was not built for rest. A world that rewards urgency, output, and over extension while leaving little room for stillness, reflection, or care.

In this kind of world, choosing to pause is radical. Choosing to listen inward, to soften, to reconnect, these are acts of courage and resistance.

Sanctuary is our response.

A place to breathe. To slow down. To come home to yourself. To return to what truly matters.

The Property

Tucked within the old growth forests and tidal waters of Washington’s Deception Pass State Park, Cornet Bay Sanctuary is a rare retreat where beauty, stillness, and deep rest shape the experience.

Set between Anacortes and Oak Harbor, this waterfront property offers private access to four thoughtfully designed buildings, sweeping views, and the quiet magic of the Pacific Northwest.

The property includes two private studio cabins with kitchenettes, gas fireplaces, and warm, natural textures, as well as a main cabin with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a light filled record room and library upstairs, and an art studio for painting and pottery on the lower level.

At the waters edge sits the centerpiece of the Sanctuary: a restored boat house perched above the tides, offering panoramic views, soft light, and a peaceful place to read, stretch, create, or simply rest with the rhythm of the bay.

Cornet Bay Sanctuary isn’t something you check into—it’s something you step into.

No matter the season, setting, or shape your time takes, Sanctuary is always held by three steady anchors:

Renewal. Reconnection. Reciprocity.

  • Renewal

Renewal is the process of reclaiming what’s been lost or worn thin—your energy, your spirit, your sense of wholeness. It’s about nourishing your body, replenishing your energy, and reconnecting with what it feels like to be whole.

  • Reconnection

Reconnection is the conscious rebuilding of relationships—with yourself, with community, with the land, and with the deeper sources of meaning that sustain us. It reminds us that healing and belonging arise through connection.

  • Reciprocity

Reciprocity is the practice of mutual care and exchange. It’s the balance of giving and receiving that nurtures healthy relationships and communities, grounded in respect, presence, and shared responsibility.
